Taguig City residents can now avail themselves of free medical assistance at Ospital ng Makati (OSMAK) following the allocation of P10 million under the Medical Assistance for Indigent Patients (MAIP) Program. This initiative, made possible through the support of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano and Senator Pia Cayetano, aims to provide essential healthcare services to indigent patients from Taguig.

The fund, secured in collaboration with the Department of Health - Metro Manila Center for Health Development (DOH-MMCHD), covers medical expenses such as medications, procedures, confinement, and other necessary healthcare services at OSMAK. This allocation is expected to alleviate the financial burden on Taguig residents in need of urgent medical care.

While the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the fund was initially received by OSMAK on April 3, 2024, it was officially signed only on February 3, 2025. Despite this delay, the City of Taguig is committed to ensuring the swift implementation of the assistance program to benefit those in need.

To avail of the MAIP assistance, residents must undergo an assessment and endorsement process facilitated by the City of Taguig. Eligible beneficiaries will receive financial aid for their medical treatments at OSMAK.

For further inquiries and application procedures, residents may visit the MAIP Office at:

  • MAIP OFFICE, GENESIS BUILDING
2nd Floor Unit E, 19th Avenue, J.P. Rizal Extension, East Rembo, City of Taguig

  • Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • MAIP Hotline: 0962-247-5431

This initiative underscores the continued efforts to improve healthcare access for Taguig residents, ensuring that medical services remain within reach for those who need them the most.
