The Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In-Need (L.A.N.I.) Scholarship Program, initiated by Taguig City, offers the Premier Scholarship to support residents pursuing higher education.
This scholarship is available to students who have either passed the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) for any Luzon campus or are enrolled in other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) within the National Capital Region (NCR) that are recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as Centers of Excellence. Recipients of the Premier Scholarship receive financial assistance ranging from ₱40,000 to ₱50,000 per academic year. It's important to note that eligibility for the Premier Scholarship requires enrollment in both a recognized institution and a qualified program. Applicants must be bona fide residents of Taguig City for at least three years prior to application, be of good moral character, and demonstrate a commitment to completing their chosen course. For those aged 18 or older, being a registered voter in Taguig City is also a requirement, with at least one parent similarly registered.
