Filipino students aspiring to study in Singapore now have a golden opportunity, as applications for the Academic Year (AY) 2026 ASEAN Scholarship are officially open. This prestigious scholarship offers financial support and access to quality education in Singapore for outstanding Filipino students currently in Grade 9 or above.


Scholarship Benefits

Successful applicants will receive:
  • Four years of study support from junior to senior high school
  • Annual allowance to cover living expenses
  • Round-trip economy airfare
  • Full coverage of school fees
  • Accommodation and settling-in allowances
  • Subsidized medical benefits and insurance coverage
  • Examination fees for GCE O-Level and A-Level (once only, as applicable)


Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the ASEAN Scholarship, applicants must:
  • Be Filipino nationals born between January 2, 2009, and January 1, 2012
  • Be currently in Grade 9 or above
  • Be proficient in English
  • Have consistently good academic performance
  • Have an active record of participation in co-curricular activities



Scholarship Duration

The scholarship is valid for four years, covering Secondary 3 to Pre-University 2 in selected Singapore secondary schools. It will be renewed annually based on the scholar’s academic performance.

January 6 to February 21, 2025 – Online application period (No application fee required)

March 2025 (Tentative) – Selection tests (to be held in Cebu and Manila for shortlisted candidates)

April 2025 (Tentative) – Selection interviews (to be held in Cebu and Manila for shortlisted candidates)

May 2025 (Tentative) – Announcement of scholarship recipients

November 2025 (Tentative) – Arrival of successful scholars in Singapore

Interested students can submit their applications online until Friday, February 21, 2025. No application fee is required. Shortlisted candidates will be notified in advance regarding selection tests and interviews.
