Position Overview

The Taguig Mobility Office is at the forefront of transportation initiatives, promoting accessibility, safety, and sustainability. As a Technical Staff/Transport Planner, you will play a vital role in the city’s mobility efforts, which include:

  • Expanding and maintaining the city’s bike lane network.
  • Organizing community cycling events, such as World Car-Free Day.
  • Implementing road and pedestrian safety programs.
  • Conducting transport-related research for evidence-based planning.
  • Supporting transport planning initiatives, such as the Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).


Qualifications

The ideal candidate must be a resident of Taguig and meet the following requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Development Studies, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and research.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Daily onsite work availability.

Interest or background in sustainable transportation, active transportation, or community development is an advantage.
