Taguig City University (TCU) has once again dominated the Local Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (LCUAA) Cheer Dance Competition, claiming their ninth consecutive championship.


The event, part of the 13th LCUAA National Games 2024, took place at the Muntinlupa National High School Main campus, where seven colleges and universities battled for the title.

TCU’s Pep Squad, known for their dynamic choreography and flawless execution, maintained their winning streak, securing first place. 


They were followed by the City College of San Jose del Monte Marahuyo, which earned second place with over 242 points, while the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa (PLMun) Marshalls placed third, scoring 220 points.


The competition saw a large turnout of supporters, filling the venue with energy as each team gave their best performances. TCU's continued dominance highlights the team's dedication and skill, earning them high praise from the crowd and judges alike.


The cheer dance competition marks the beginning of the 13th LCUAA National Games 2024, a week-long event featuring a wide range of athletic contests between participating colleges and universities from across the country. The games are expected to draw further excitement as teams compete for top honors in various sports.
