Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano has officially opened the new LINGAP Center in Brgy. Palingon, a facility dedicated to caring for children who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, or surrendered.

The LINGAP Center serves as a safe haven for children, offering them a nurturing environment while they are in transition to a more permanent family setting. The center is part of Taguig City’s broader efforts to support and protect the most vulnerable members of society, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve.

The center aims to provide a temporary home for these vulnerable children while they await placement with foster families or adoption into their forever homes.

Mayor Cayetano also highlighted the importance of finding foster families and permanent homes for these children, emphasizing that the LINGAP Center is a temporary home that serves as a stepping stone toward a brighter future for the young residents.

"This is their home while they wait for a foster family or a forever home," the mayor added, thanking the community for its ongoing support and urging families to consider fostering or adopting children in need.

The opening of the LINGAP Center marks a significant step in Taguig’s efforts to improve social welfare services and provide compassionate care to children facing difficult circumstances.
