Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano officially filed her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for re-election this morning, October 7, 2024, at the Taguig Convention Center in Barangay Ususan.
Seeking another term in the May 12, 2025, elections, Cayetano arrived at the venue accompanied by her husband, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, and her team TLC, who also filed their COCs for various local positions.
Mayor Cayetano, who has served multiple terms as the city's chief executive, is running for another term to continue her administration’s programs aimed at improving public services, infrastructure, and social welfare in Taguig. Her leadership has been marked by various initiatives in education, healthcare, and urban development, which she aims to further expand if re-elected.
The presence of her husband, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, a key figure in national politics, and the full backing of Team TLC, reinforces Lani Cayetano’s bid for re-election, signaling a strong campaign effort heading into the 2025 elections.
