Due to the continued impact of Tropical Storm Kristine, the City of Taguig has announced the suspension of classes in all levels, both in public and private schools, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Metro Manila, including Taguig City, remains under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1, with weather authorities warning of potential heavy rainfall, flooding, and strong winds. In light of these threats, the local government has decided to prioritize the safety of students and staff.

Schools affected by the suspension are encouraged to implement alternative learning modalities, in line with the Department of Education's policies for emergencies. Parents and students are advised to stay safe and monitor further updates from local authorities and schools.

This decision follows precautionary measures being taken across the region as Tropical Storm Kristine continues to affect parts of Luzon.
