Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) has announced that its Arca South Transport Terminal in Taguig City is on track for completion by the fourth quarter of 2025. The two-hectare terminal is part of ALI’s efforts to enhance accessibility to the growing Arca South estate, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The transport terminal is a key component of ALI’s strategy to address transportation gaps while the Taguig Integrated Terminal Exchange project is still under development. It will cater to various forms of public transport, including buses, jeepneys, Asian utility vehicles (AUVs), and tricycles, making travel easier for commuters in the area.

In addition to transport services, the terminal will also house retail spaces, including food and beverage kiosks. The facility will be operated in partnership with Interlux Corp. and will offer several commuter-friendly amenities, such as restrooms with accessibility features for persons with disabilities and a dedicated lactation room for breastfeeding mothers.

Notably, ALI plans to relocate the AANI weekend market, a popular community event, to the terminal's site, further enhancing the area’s appeal.

The Arca South estate is rapidly expanding, with major projects like residential and office buildings, Landers Superstore, and the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital — the country’s first comprehensive cancer care facility — already operational. ALI anticipates continued growth in the estate in 2025 with the upcoming launch of Ayala Malls Arca South.

The master-planned estate will include parks, open spaces, retail outlets, leisure activities, residential communities, and commercial hubs, making it one of Taguig City’s most dynamic developments.'
