A wave of energy and readiness swept through the city as 1,200 Taguigeños prepare to participate in the cash-for-work program in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). Taguig City, having complied with the agency's guidelines, offers this opportunity to its residents.

The program prioritizes various vulnerable groups, including survivors of Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), Women in Difficult Circumstances (WEDC), Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) needing aftercare services, and solo parents without stable employment who sought assistance from the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).

This initiative aims to provide temporary employment to these individuals, ensuring they have the means to support themselves while contributing to the community's welfare. The selected participants will engage in various community improvement and maintenance projects, enhancing the city's infrastructure and environment.

Taguig City's compliance with DSWD guidelines underscores its commitment to uplifting its residents, particularly those in vulnerable situations. The cash-for-work program is expected to provide much-needed financial support to the beneficiaries, helping them achieve better stability and quality of life.
