What is TLC Scholarship Program

Taguig Learners' Certificate (TLC) Scholarship Program is an initiative aimed at providing educational opportunities for deserving students in Taguig City.  Through this program, elementary school graduates who demonstrate academic potential and good conduct are given the chance to continue their education at private schools.

The TLC Scholarship Program collaborates with 56 private schools, offering elementary school graduates the opportunity to pursue their education at a private institution. Through this initiative, students receive a tuition fee subsidy of up to P18,000, along with an annual educational assistance of P10,000.

Last February, 9,746 high school students received P10,000 each via TLC Scholarship allowance.

Who Can Apply

• Students graduating from any Public Elementary School in Taguig or EMBO who have been enrolled in a Taguig or EMBO Public School for the past three (3) years.
• Students enrolling for Grade 7.
• Students who have demonstrated good conduct as attested by the School Principal.
• Parents must have been residing in Taguig (or EMBO) for at least three (3) years.
• Parents must be registered and active voters of Taguig or EMBO for the past three (3) years before the student's application.
• Participation in the program is voluntary, with a written consent from the parents, committing to guide and support the applicant.

Required Documents

• ORIGINAL Student Application Form.
• CERTIFIED TRUE COPY of FORM 137.
• ORIGINAL CERTIFICATION from SCHOOL from the Adviser or Principal confirming that the applicant/student is one of the elementary graduates this year and has good conduct.
• School ID (back-to-back photocopy on a single page) of the applicant.
• COMELEC CERTIFICATION of one of the PARENTS of the applicant/student (Issued after May 9, 2022 election).
• BARANGAY RESIDENCY CERTIFICATE of one of the Parents of the applicant/student, proving residency in Taguig or EMBO for at least three (3) years.
• Photocopy of the applicant/student's Birth Certificate.

Where to Submit the Application

The application can be submitted to the program's selected Partner Private Schools.
