Voter Registration in Taguig

Eligible Applicants/Voters

To be eligible for voter registration in Taguig City, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a natural-born or naturalized Filipino Citizen.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years old or above on or before election day.
  • Must have resided in the city of Taguig for at least six (6) months or more than one (1) year before the election.



Requirements for Different Types of Applications


New Registration, Transfer From Other City or Municipality, Transfer Within The Same City or Municipality, Reactivation, and Reactivation With Transfer Within the Same City or Municipality

Applicants for the aforementioned categories must provide the following requirements:

1. One copy or photocopy of a Valid ID/Government-issued IDs showing the applicant's address in Taguig City for registration purposes.

2. List of Valid IDs for verification includes:

4. Student's ID card or library card, signed by the school authority
6. LTO Driver's license/Student Permit
9. SSS/GSIS ID or other UMID card
10. Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID card
11. Professional Regulatory Commission
12. Certificate of Confirmation issued by the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) for members of ICCS or IPs
13. Barangay Identification/Certification with photo
14. Any other government issued valid IDs.Barangay ID/Clearance with photo

3. For applicants aged eighteen (18) on or before election day, original and photocopy of the birth certificate is required as proof of age.


Reactivation with Correction of Entries, Correction of Entries, and Transfer with Reactivation with Correction of Entries

Applicants for these categories must provide:

  • One copy or photocopy of a Valid ID/Government-issued IDs showing the applicant's address in Taguig City.
  • Birth certificate (for Reactivation with Correction of Entries)
  • Marriage certificate or Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) (for Reactivation with Correction of Entries)



Submission of Requirements via Email Only (No Personal Visit Needed)

Applicants for Reactivation (with Biometrics Only), Reactivation with Transfer Within the City or Municipality, and Reactivation with Correction of Entries may submit their requirements via the official email: taguigcity@comelec.gov.ph to avoid the need for a personal visit to the office.
