You can now register for a Philsys National ID within 5 minutes at Vista Mall Taguig!
Today, I got a chance to finally register myself to the Philippine National ID. Thanks to the newly opened Philsys satellite office in Vista Mall Taguig.
WHAT IS PHILSYS?
The Philippine Identification System or PhilSys refers to the government’s central identification platform for all Filipino citizens and resident aliens of the Philippines.
WHY REGISTER TO PHILSYS
As a digital foundational ID system, PhilSys will transform how services are delivered and accessed in the Philippines, and accelerate our transition to a digital economy, including to enable presenceless, paperless and cashless transactions.
Built on a Privacy-by-Design principle, PhilSys adopts the latest technology and innovations underscoring the importance of privacy of individuals and security of information under the system.

HOW TO REGISTER TO PHILSYS NATIONAL ID?
Here are the steps I followed during my National ID registration:
- Get a copy and fill out all required fields and submit your application form.
- Present a valid ID (UMID, SSS, Drivers Li
- Information given will be confirmed and registered including the following:
- They will take a photo of you (no accessories on face, ears and hair)
- Eye-scanning
- Fingerprints registry
Once done, they will give you a transaction slip which you will need to present once your ID will be delivered. You may track your PhilID from tracking.phlpost.gov.ph
The staff advised me that the there is not exact timeframe for the delivery of the National ID.
The PhilSys registration center is open from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday at Vista Mall Taguig is located at the 2/F Phase 2 beside Vista Cinemas.
